The North Course
Slightly shorter than the South, with tighter fairways and larger greens, the North Course offers a different, yet no less challenging, round of golf. A feature of the newly constructed greens, all built to USGA specification, is the amount of movement incorporated in them, none more so than the short Par 3, 2nd, which has three distinct plateaux - a great test of putting. Relying on precision rather than length, an added challenge is provided by the wide variety of water hazards and 'barrancas' that snake their way through the course.
The West Course
Set amid serene pine woodlands, the West Course's design closely follows the natural contours of the undulating land. Its distinct character makes it a good alternative to the other, more classical championship courses. It is a deceiving course, with frequent changes in elevation with which to contend. The tight front nine demands accurate driving to avoid the 'barrancas' (natural storm gullies) while the back nine, up amongst the hills, is more open but nonetheless challenging.
The South Course
Originally designed by Robert Putman in 1971 and subsequently remodelled in 1992 by Arnold Palmer, La Manga Club's South Course was completely refurbished in 2004. The Championship course at La Manga Club, the South, is probably one of the fairest tests of golf one can find. At 6,499 metres from the White Tees, whilst being accepted as a top-calibre championship course, also provides a thorough test both for the scratch player and right across the handicap range.
Headquarters of the European PGA, La Manga is a Mecca for golfers from around the world. Set in amongst palm trees, there are two well-established 18-hole championship courses, as well as a new 18-hole course. Situated about 60kms south of Torrevieja.
Situated very close to Alicante, nestling in the foothills of the Sierra de Bonalba, the course overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Complete with its own Golf Academy and large driving range. 18-hole, Par 72, 6367m.

Situated in a deep valley, the Marquesa Golf Course is probably the least demanding of the courses featured here. It is an ideal choice if it has been a while since you last played, and you are looking to get your swing back! Situated about 18km north of Torrevieja. 18-hole, Par 72, 6030m.

The Real Club de Campoamor opened in 1989. This 18-hole course with its expansive fairways and excellent greens, offers some incredible scenery. With six 'dog legs', this course can prove testing at times! Also has a swimming pool. 18-hole, Par 72, 6200m.
With its stunning new clubhouse, this course will be challenging for some major championships.

Las Ramblas was created in 1991 by the Villamartin management. As the name might suggest, this demanding course rambles through valleys with the occasional water hazard and contains more rugged terrain. There are plans for a new and far more lavish clubhouse to be built soon. 18-hole, Par 72, 5914m.
